YES I had to force them together somehow, right? I had fun with the missing context but am not totally sure I've been consistent with it-- I think I need to go back and edit Randale's scenes from Part I (I feel like he asks them 3 times if they know each other).

I mean, yeah, all I really want to write is Tylendel reflecting on how different Vanyel is because I just love writing about people observing Van for some bizarre reason.

The Companions were actually easy to put in for once! Sometimes I forget about them for entire fics and am like, oh yeah, I guess I should stick in some talking horses at some point.
