eh. When I think of the mothers portrayed in the LHM - Treesa, Melenna, Shavri and Ylna - it's not simply that they're not great people; it's that the negative qualities they have fit into this pretty narrow constellation of sexuality, obsession, selfishness and the 'irrational'.

I think more subtleness failure lies ahead here... XD
